A mug gift box is a rigid box with a fitted insert that holds each mug or cup in its own cavity, handle included, so ceramics do not touch or move in transit. Brands use it for single mugs, sets of two or four, espresso cups with a coffee pouch, Arabic coffee sets with a dallah and finjan cups, and corporate gift sets where a mug sits next to a flask, diary or pen. The insert is cut from your mug dimensions or a sample mug.

How do you stop mugs breaking in a gift box?
Each mug sits in its own cavity cut to its body and handle, so the ceramics never touch, and the cavity depth keeps the mug from lifting. EVA foam absorbs more shock than paperboard and suits heavy mugs and pots; paperboard suits lighter sets and paper-only packaging. What size box fits four mugs?
For four mugs of about Ø 8.2 cm and 9.6 cm tall, a two-by-two layout needs roughly 270 × 230 × 115 mm inside, with room for handles and the insert walls. Taller or wider mugs change this, so the final size is set from your sample mug. Other set sizes are in the table above.
Can you make a gift box for an Arabic coffee set with a dallah?
